Klay Thompson gets booed for wearing Dodger hat in Giants' park
Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors are one win from bringing a second straight NBA championship back to the Bay Area, but that doesn't mean he can get away with just anything.
To wit, Thompson wore a Dodgers hat at Saturday's game against the Giants at AT&T Park, likely to support his brother Trayce, who plays for the Los Angeles team. And when Klay was shown on the videoboard, the San Francisco fans let him have it.
Klay laughed it off, and cheered loudly when Trayce walked with the bases loaded to tie the game in the seventh. The Giants, however, walked off with a 5-4 win in the 10th.
Warriors coach Steve Kerr also was at the game, and he got a round of cheers when he was shown on the videoboard. Sans hat.
