Marlins OF Christian Yelich face-plants into wall to make insane catch

Christian Yelich put his body on the line Wednesday night when Seattle's Jarrod Dyson's warning track power sent the Marlins outfielder head-first into the center-field wall.

But at least he made the catch.

Yelich also made quite an impact on the wall, which was left with an imprint comparable to Han Solo frozen in carbonite, as Twitter was quick to point out.

"I said, 'I'm eating this wall,'" Yelich said (via The Sun Sentiel) after the Marlins' 10-5 loss. "It was one of those things where you have to make a decision halfway there if you're going to pull up or eat it. And sometimes you just have to eat it."

"Definitely felt it and probably will for the next few days, Yelich said. "But it's part of the game."
