Matt Harvey and the Mets use off day to play golf in the Bahamas

The New York Mets have been on a bit of skid lately, going 5-5 in their last 10 games, including losses in four of their last five. They hope to turn that around this weekend against their divisional foe Miami Marlins, but not before taking a trip even further south.

Matt Harvey, Noah Syndergaard, Kevin Plawecki and Neil Walker flew down to the Bahamas on the team's off day to sneak in a round of 18 at Baker's Bay Golf & Ocean Club -- one of the best golf resorts in all the land. And as athletes typically do, it was shirts versus skins on the links.

The Bahamas are much closer than they sound from Miami, as it's only a short flight away, hence the quick trip by the Mets. And by the looks of it, the getaway was worth it.

Maybe a round of golf in the sun will turn Harvey's season around, because he's been terrible thus far.
