Washington Nationals co-ace Max Scherzer is currently batting .227 with one extra base hit (a double) and seven strikeouts on the season.
More importantly, the pitcher is having another good (but not great) season on the mound, highlighted by that record-tying 20-strikeout performance against the Tigers.
The tutorial on "how to hit a home run" emphasizes "First you swing verrry hard when the pitcher throws to you."
