Mets create slip 'n' slide made of beer as they celebrate NLDS clincher
After winning a tough NLDS series against the Dodgers, the Mets went all-out in their postgame celebration.
With a clutch performance by second baseman Daniel Murphy that will be talked about for ages by Mets fans, New York advanced to the NLCS with a 3-2 win over the Dodgers in Los Angeles on Thursday.
After closer Jeurys Familia notched the final out of a rare six-out save, the Mets all flocked around the mound and reveled in the victory, which will send them to the National League Championship Series for the first time since 2006.

In a resourceful and imaginative twist, the Mets poured beer on the protective plastic sheeting on the floor and turned the clubhouse into a slip 'n' slide.
