Mets' Syndergaard calls out MLB Shop for botching last name
Another arm of Major League Baseball has goofed on the spelling for New York Mets flamethrower Noah Syndergaard, and the error did not escape the pitcher's notice.
Take a look at the post from the 6-foot-6 righty:
MLB Shop even got the hard part right there -- the "G-A-A-R-D." With "part deux" he's referencing the time he earned an All-Star nomination (in July) where a large placard showed his name as Snydergaard at a fan expo.
The page that contained the recent typo now shows what appears to be the same man turned around, smiling. As Thor suggests, all of this is probably just Mr. Met, up to no good again.
Now you're just messing with me right? This smells like @MrMet #namefailpartduex ☹️ pic.twitter.com/Ni6LmwW3uq
