I hope you’re sitting down.

Back in August, the sale of a 1952 Topps Mickey Mantle PSA 8 baseball card made headlines when it sold at auction for a whopping $382,400 - a record of sorts for the iconic piece of cardboard.

Until now.

Sunday, another Mantle Topps rookie card (also graded PSA 8) broke the bank after selling on eBay for - get this - $486,100 plus $250 shipping.

No word yet as to whether the winning bid was legit (you never can tell with eBay), but to put this whole sale into perspective, should-be 2015 National League Rookie of the Year Kris Bryant was paid $471,448 by the Chicago Cubs this past season.
