The Boston Red Sox have a few players that are poised to make a run at the MVP award this season, headed by outfielder Mookie Betts. He's hitting .293 with 16 home runs and 54 RBIs to go along with 12 stolen bases. Not to mention, getting hit in the face with a baseball doesn't faze him.

In the first inning of Sunday's game, Betts fouled off a pitch which came up and hit him in the face. He shook it off despite the ball nearly knocking his helmet off and proceeded to single on the next pitch.

Betts went 2-for-5 in the game despite the Red Sox losing 6-2. Boston has now lost six of their last 10, but it hasn't been because of poor play from Betts.
