During the sixth inning of the Padres-Reds game, San Diego first baseman Wil Myers found a wrinkle of opportunity and made a break for home plate.
The Reds' Homer Bailey had just walked a batter and fielded his catcher's throw back, ambled off the back of the mound, and basically forgotten that Myers was on third base. Myers was able to cross the plate before Bailey even turned his back for one of the easiest runs he'll score in his career.
It was Bailey's first start of the season after recovering from elbow and forearm surgeries and he got the win -- his first since August 7, 2014.
