Paul Goldschmidt granted Diamondbacks' Heart and Hustle Award again
In addition to his incredible success at the plate, Paul Goldschmidt is also revered for his passionate play, for which he was honored on Tuesday.
For the second-consecutive season, Goldschmidt has been nominated the Arizona Diamondbacks' Heart and Hustle Award recipient by the MLB Players Alumni, becoming the only D-backs player to receive the award more than once since its inception in 2005.

The Heart and Hustle Award is granted annually by MLB alumni and current players to an active player on each team who "demonstrates a passion for the game of baseball and best embodies the values, spirit and traditions of the game."
Previous D-backs to receive the award include Gerardo Parra, Willie Bloomquist, Ryan Roberts, Chris Young, Mark Reynolds, Stephen Drew, Conor Jackson, and Craig Counsell.
