Rangers SS says marriage proposal was more nerve-racking than World Series

Elvis Andrus popped the question to his girlfriend on Thursday, but not without plenty of nerves.

In fact, the Rangers’ shortstop compared it to playing on baseball’s biggest stage.

Best of luck to the Andrus family – she said yes, by the way. Let’s hope Andrus’ World Series appearances (2010 and 2011, so far) continue to outnumber his marriage proposals.
