Reds' Duvall mows down Mets' Flores twice in same game
New York Mets infielder Wilmer Flores is enjoying a 3-for-4 afternoon in Cincinnati on Monday (game in progress), however two of his trips to the base paths ended after Reds left fielder Adam Duvall threw him out.
Duvall mowed down Flores the first time after barehanding a ball off the wall and firing it to second as the the not-particularly-fast Flores tried to stretch a single:
Flores helped Duvall earn another outfield assist in the fourth inning after a deep Flores blast ricocheted off the top of the wall. Duvall chased it down and threw it to third base in time to catch Flores again.
Elsewhere, Flores created some excitement recently by using the Friends theme song for his walk-up music. Adam Duvall is not Flores' friend.
