Scioscia: Angels must 'turn the page' after Sunday meltdown
The Los Angeles Angels saw a 3-0 lead over the Houston Astros dissolve on Sunday afternoon in shocking fashion, as closer Huston Street wasn't able to put away the Astros after getting two quick outs to start the ninth inning.
After the dust settled, the Angels lost 5-3 and saw the prospect of a three-game sweep of the Astros disappear. They also saw themselves fall four and a half games back of Houston in the AL West and three games back of the second Wild Card spot.
After the game, manager Mike Scioscia had a few things to say regarding Sunday's developments and where his club goes from here.
As MLB.com's Alden Gonzalez reported, Scioscia often uses the phrase 'turn the page' when describing adversity such as this, and he did so again on Sunday: "Sometimes that page is heavy, like it is this afternoon," he told Gonzalez. "We have to turn it."

Despite Sunday's abrupt setback, the Halos have been playing well in September. They've won seven out of 11 games in the month and have 20 games left against some of the teams they're chasing for a coveted postseason spot.
They're not out of the picture by any means, but outfielder Kole Calhoun told Gonzalez that everybody is pretty much on board with the mentality that they have to go out and bounce back well on Monday night in Seattle: "We have to," he explained to Gonzalez. "Tomorrow, the sun's going to come up and we're going to play a baseball game. We have to go out there as a team, hopefully get a 'W.'"
