The Indians put their own spin on Jimmy Fallon's classic 'Thank You Notes' skit
Opening Day for the 2016 baseball season is just days away, and the Cleveland Indians are making sure to wrap up all unfinished business ahead of the start of the season. That business apparently includes writing some thank you notes.
The team created a spoof of a popular segment by Jimmy Fallon in which "The Tonight Show" host writes parody thank you notes, and the Indians used their own video as a chance to thank some of the people who mean the most to them.
Been very busy in AZ, but our guys remembered their Thank You notes. https://t.co/ClQ1wPoBHY

Manager Terry Francona starts the video off by rocking a fantastic captain's hat, and his piano skills nearly steal the show.
Then there is Yan Gomes, who thanks Corey Kluber for his "infectious smile," which is on full display in the photo included in the video.
Corey Kluber shows off his humor next as he thanks the "shirtless cowboy for keeping it classy in that dugout suite."
Trevor Bauer takes a more pop culture route by thanking Adele "for bringing back such a simple greeting." We assume Bauer is referencing Adele's song "Hello," but it's surprising Jason Kipnis did not want to write that note. He was caught once singing Adele's "Someone Like You" while wearing a mic during a game.
Bryan Shaw pens an especially meaningful note to the "drunk guy behind home plate yelling." As Shaw reminds the public, "I can hear you and sometimes words hurt." Anyone who wants to troll Shaw this season would do well to keep this note in mind. Props to Shaw for also showing off his individuality with his unique hat style.
Carlos Carrasco wraps the video with an obvious but important thank you, as he writes, "Thank you Jimmy Fallon for giving us a great idea to steal from you."
Although it's hard to know whether Adele, the drunk guy behind home plate or the shirtless cowboy received those notes, Jimmy Fallon clearly appreciated the thoughtful words from the Indians.
I like this. Good luck this season!! https://t.co/fRwpm4pVu3
