When in doubt, review the count.

That's what the umpiring crew for Tuesday night's game between the San Francisco Giants and Arizona Diamondbacks had to do after losing track of the count in the first inning.

The scoreboard showed a 3-2 count after Chase Anderson's sixth pitch to San Francisco's Joe Panik. Plate umpire Angel Hernandez called a ball on the next pitch and Anderson was about to throw another one to Panik when Giants manager Bruce Bochy yelled from the dugout that it should have been ball four.

Hernandez gathered the rest of the umpires for a meeting, then went to the video review. After a delay of 97 seconds, Panik was awarded the walk and trotted to first base.
