Why Game 3 of the World Series could be an HR-fest for the Cubs and Indians

The Cubs and Indians could get a little help offensively from Mother Nature in Game 3.

There is a strong breeze at Wrigley Field, and the forecast calls for gusts up to 20 miles per hour for the World Series on Friday night.

For the record, Indians starter Josh Tomlin served up 36 homers during the 2016 regular season – only the White Sox’s James Shields (40) and the Angels’ Jered Weaver (37) allowed more.

Meanwhile, Cubs starter Kyle Hendricks gave up only 15 homers, and his 0.71 HR/9 ratio was the sixth-best in the majors.

But that Wrigley wind won’t discriminate if a batter from either team gets a hold of one.
