Now, it's Yoenis Cespedes' turn. The Mets made the slugging outfielder's 4-year, $110 million extension official Wednesday afternoon. When asked about his individual goals for the team now that he's locked into a long-term deal, Cespedes didn't sugarcoat his answer. The two-time All-Star declared that it was his goal to bring a World Series championship to the New York Mets:
And there you have it. Will Cespedes fulfill his high-reaching promise? He's got four years to prove it.
