Zack Greinke's return to L.A. couldn't have gone much worse

Los Angeles Dodgers fans who turned out to watch former co-ace Zack Greinke's return sure got their money's worth.

They opened the game booing their former hero, who spurned the team for a megadeal with the Arizona Diamondbacks in the offseason.

Then, after watching him shut down the lineup for the first few innings, all hell broke loose.

First, Adrian Gonzalez cracked a fourth-inning home run off of Greinke, who hadn't given one up in the three games prior.

In the fifth inning, half the lineup joined in on the fun. Joc Pederson, Corey Seager, Justin Turner and Yasmani Grandal all took turns taking Greinke deep and getting him sent off to the delight of the crowd.

All told, Greinke finished his day with 4-2/3 innings, 8 runs and 9 hits ... ouch.

"I don't know what it is at the moment," he said. "But I am going to try to find out what is going wrong and try and do better."
