Formula 1 drivers are in Malaysia for this weekend's Malaysian Grand Prix, and Sauber driver Marcus Ericsson was fortunate to walk away from a high-speed cycling crash during a training camp in Thailand after he ... crashed into a chicken crossing the road. Seriously.
Hitting a (big) chicken doing 45km/h is not to recommend ? but I'm all patched up and ready for the weekend ??? #ME9 pic.twitter.com/npZmatpOo6

@JensonButton that must be it! Been wondering why the ? choose to run out in the road in front of me in a group of 40 cyclists..... ??

Hopefully the chicken escaped the incident in better shape than Ericsson's elbow.
