Justin Timberlake to perform at United States Grand Prix
Pop singer Justin Timberlake will perform at the United States Grand Prix in October.
The event will take place at the Circuit of The Americas in Austin, which plays host to round 17 of the 2017 Formula One World Championship. Timberlake will perform following qualifying on Saturday, Oct. 21.
Last Fall, Taylor Swift likewise performed on stage at the track on the Saturday before the race. It was Swift’s only concert of the year, and the race saw a major boost in attendance.
CoTA president Bobby Epstien says that recording artists see the Grand Prix as a chance to perform in front of a global stage, and that having Timberlake perform “fits right in.”
