Lewis Hamilton to race with Senna-themed helmet in Brazil
Mercedes F1 driver Lewis Hamilton will honor his idol Ayrton Senna this weekend at the Brazilian Grand Prix in Sao Paulo.
Senna, a three-time World Champion, did a lot for the sport in his home country of Brazil and across the world, and is regarded by many as the greatest F1 driver of all time. He was killed in a crash in San Marino on May 1, 1994.
Hamilton was one of many aspiring racers who was affected by the death of Senna, but he continued to pursue his dream of motor racing and is now a three-time World Champion himself.
On Thursday, Hamilton revealed that he would be wearing a helmet paying homage to Senna at this weekend’s Brazilian Grand Prix:
