Mercedes F1 race suits being auctioned off for charity
Race suits belonging to Mercedes F1 drivers Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg are being auctioned off by CharityStars.com.
Proceeds from the fundraising event will be donated to Laureus Sport for Good Italia Foundation to help support those affected by the recent earthquakes in Italy.
Fans will be able to bid on the race suits - which have been autographed by the drivers - at charitystars.com/Mercedes, where they are listed in two separate lots.
With Mercedes having wrapped up the constructor’s championship in Japan, and with Rosberg and Hamilton currently running 1-2 in the driver standings, the race suits will inevitably become coveted collectors’ items in the future.
Hamilton’s race suit was worn in six grands prix this season, including the race in which he won in Monaco and the one in which he infamously collided with Rosberg in Spain.
Rosberg’s race suit was worn in the four races spanning from Austria to Germany over the summer.
Visit charitystars.com/Mercedes for more information or to place your bid. The auction closes on Oct. 30.
