For good or for bad, the 2015 MotoGP World Championship is one that will be discussed for years to come.

Valentino Rossi was forced to start from the rear of the field after his collision with Marc Marquez in Sepang, yet he was able to rally his way by over 20 other MotoGP bikes to finish in fourth position. However, it was not enough as Jorge Lorenzo led every lap from pole position to take the victory and the championship, closely followed by the Repsol Honda of Marquez.

Marquez said after the race that he was unable to match the pace of Lorenzo, yet many on social media were skeptical of his claims considering the events that took place in Malaysia.

Further back in the field, 2006 MotoGP World Champion Nicky Hayden - the only American in the field - placed 17th in his final race in the series.
