Young Ferrari fan steals hearts at the Spanish GP

Fans of Ferrari had a lot to cheer about and a lot to cry about at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya in Spain on Sunday.

Need proof? Look no further than this young fan - Thomas Danel from France - up in the stands.

Ferrari's day did not get off to a great start. While Sebastien Vettel won the race into Turn 1, teammate Kimi Raikkonen was eliminated in a crash in Turn 1. The World feed picked up the image of the fan in the stands who was having a difficult time coping with Raikkonen's retirement:

While many watching the race and following along on Twitter couldn't help but feel for the young fan, they all had a reason to smile again 24 laps later when Sebastian Vettel - having lost the lead when he made a stop - made a critical pass on Valtteri Bottas to take the lead back into Turn 1:
