Dale Earnhardt Jr. had the opportunity to take a different kind of ride around Talladega Superspeedway prior to Sunday's Hellmann's 500.
In what has become a patriotic pre-race tradition before every NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at Talladega, Earnhardt rode shotgun in a semi that carries the American flag around the 2.66-mile track.
America for the win.
