Grant Enfinger won the ARCA Racing Series race Saturday night at Iowa Speedway, holding off 16-year-old Kyle Weatherman after a late pass on the 0.875-mile oval.

Enfinger, driving the No. 90 Ford for BCR Racing, won for the second time in 50 series starts. He passed Weatherman for the lead with six laps left in the 150-lap race.

''We were on the bottom and Weatherman went by me like I was standing still,'' said Enfinger, from Fairhope, Ala. ''I couldn't believe how high he was running. We went up there and had a lot of grip and we were running as fast as him. I was reeling him in and he got up there a bit and we got by him.

''The car was not great until that last pit stop. (Crew chief) Kelly Kovski made some adjustments and it really came alive.''

Weatherman was making his fourth series start.

''We figured out a pretty good groove up there at top,'' Weatherman said. ''We had a fast car for about 20 laps. It got really tight. Enfinger found the same line I did. He had a little better car at the end and beat us by a little bit. We had a good run.''

Chad Boat was third, followed by Corey LaJoie, Kyle Benjamin, Mason Mitchell, Mason Mingus and Tom Hessert.

Points leader Frank Kimmel was 10th. He has won three races this season to tie Iggy Katona for the ARCA career victory record with 79.
