Kyle Larson ready to get down and dirty at Eldora -- again
Kyle Larson is ready to get down and dirty again.
Larson, who drives the No. 42 Chevrolet for Chip Ganassi Racing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, is set to return to Eldora Speedway next week to compete in the Camping World Truck Series for GMS Racing.
The Eldora event is the only race in NASCAR's top three national touring series held on dirt. It is set for next Wednesday, July 20, with television coverage of the main race beginning at 8:30 p.m. ET on FS1.
It will mark just the second Truck Series start of the season for Larson, and the 12th of his career. Larson ran at Martinsville for GMS Racing earlier this season and finished fourth.
Larson has made two previous Truck Series starts at Eldora, finishing second in 2013 and 26th last year.
Fellow Sprint Cup driver Tony Stewart owns the Eldora track, which is located in Rossburg, Ohio.
