Not only do NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers have a dangerous job, but the people who service the car on pit road do, as well.
During Sunday’s Bank of America 500 at Charlotte Motor Speedway, a pit-crew member from Carl Edwards’ No. 19 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota caught fire after Edwards left his pit stall.
Thankfully, the fire was limited to just his uniform and was put out quickly. Per team sources, he was unharmed.
