Ray Evernham shows off 1964 Plymouth on 'Race Hub'

In another edition of NASCAR Race Hub’s Barn Finds, championship-winning crew chief and former car owner Ray Evernham showed off his 1964 Plymouth, which he refers to as the “4-Ply”.

While the body is a ’64 Plymouth, the chassis and many of the parts come straight off of NASCAR race cars.

Some parts of the chassis actually appeared in the Daytona 500. His team at Ray Evernham Enterprises took the collection of race car parts to build a street rod under the Plymouth body.

This car has a lot of awesome components and a similar feel to Richard Petty’s 1964 Daytona 500 winning Plymouth.

Check out this bad to the bone hot rod from Ray Evernham’s garage.
