Results for first Chase for the Sprint Cup race at Chicagoland

Martin Truex Jr. won the first race in the 2016 Chase for the Sprint Cup on Sunday at Chicagoland Speedway.

As a result, Truex earned advancement into the next round of the Chase. Four drivers wll be eliminated after the opening round, which consists of Sunday's opener at Chicagoland, New Hampshire next week and Dover.
