Sweet victory: Kyle Larson's girlfriend wins Better Half Dash
Katelyn Sweet, the girlfriend of NASCAR driver Kyle Larson, won Thursday’s Sixth Annual Better Half Dash charity Legends car race at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
Sweet started from the pole and dominated the race to win over Paige White, Brad Keselowski’s girlfriend, and Haley Dillon, the wife of NASCAR XFINITY Series regular Ty Dillon.
“I had so much fun,” said Sweet. “I told Kyle earlier this week that I think they should do this a little more often.”
“Everybody wants to bring home the trophy, but this was about raising money for a lot of really good causes,” said White.

Dillon and White locked bumpers on the last lap, but managed to separate themselves.
“I was trying really hard to get you girls and I spun out twice,” said Dillon.
Prior to the start of the race, the drivers -- spouses and girlfriends of NASCAR racers -- raised more than $70,000 for Motor Racing Outreach, Speedway Children’s Charities and other charities.
All told, this event has raised more than $300,000 in five years.
