The first round of the 2016 Chase for the Sprint Cup has been completed after races at Chicagoland Speedway, New Hampshire Motor Speedway and Dover International Speedway.

Martin Truex Jr. won the opening race at Chicagoland and Sunday's elimination affair at Dover, with Kevin Harvick going to Victory Lane in between at New Hampshire.

But was the racing what you wanted to see? Were the subplots generated by it as compelling as you'd like?
