Watch as Clint Bowyer shows how fast Watkins Glen really is

People often ask, what's the difference between the two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series road courses, Sonoma Raceway and Watkins Glen International?

Well, Sonoma is in Northern California and the Glen is in the Finger Lakes region of New York state.

But more than that, Sonoma is a highly technical track, while Watkins Glen is crazy fast, especially now that it's been repaved. In fact, the qualifying lap record at the Glen is about 35 miles per hour faster than the Sonoma lap record. That's a meaningful amount, especially on a road course.
