76ers select Richaun Holmes with 37th pick in NBA draft

PHILADELPHIA (AP) The Philadelphia 76ers have selected Bowling Green forward Richaun Holmes with the 37th pick of the NBA draft.

Holmes was the second of five scheduled second-round picks held by the Sixers. The Sixers drafted international prospect Willy Hernangomez with the 35th pick. The Sixers selected Duke center Jahlil Okafor with the third pick of the draft.

The Sixers also are scheduled to have the 47th, 58th and 60th overall picks of the draft.

Holmes became the only player in Bowling Green history to score 1,000 points, grab 600 rebounds and have 200 blocks in a career.
