Aaron Gordon broke out a new dunk on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show'
Now that he's exploded into the public consciousness, Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon is taking his slam dunk tour all around the country. And for his latest stop, Gordon joined talk show host Ellen DeGeneres, who was gracious enough to risk life and limb to help Gordon with some new dunks.
Okay, so maybe Ellen wasn't in any real danger. But with the way she reacted to this massive slam from Gordon, we're not so sure that she knew she was safe:
That dunk is somewhat reminiscent of Gordon's ridiculous jam from the 2016 Dunk Contest in which he grabbed the ball from his mascot riding atop a hoverboard and threw it down, of course:
But Gordon wasn't done on "The Ellen Show." He then endangered another member of the program, jumping over him in a demonstration of a new twist on an old classic:
That was all Ellen needed to see, as she awarded Gordon with his rightful dunk championship trophy:
Judging by his reaction, Gordon will cherish that momento forever. But for now, he's on his way to Cartoon Network. Who knows what he has planned there.
