Aaron Gordon throws down his second-most ridiculous dunk of 2016

Aaron Gordon is not one of us.

If there's anything he's made fully and finally clear this year, it's that he, Gordon, was formulated in a laboratory by aliens who mixed the flubber substance with Blake Griffin pheremones and kinetic energies unknown to man.

Because no human person--no one--should be able to do what the Orlando Magic's second-year man did to the poor Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night, which was improvise a casual dunk from near the free throw line on a fast break. Off the wrong foot.

But here we are:

This is what Gordon does. But how does he do what he do?

Let's break it down:

1.     This fast break is a mess. It's not Elfrid Payton's fault. It's just less than clean. Payton is dealing with Shane Larkin, and he's got Victor Oladipo and Dewayne Dedmon sort of just standing there, nethers in hand.

2.     Enter Gordon. This is where he starts the dunk.

3.     Gordon contemplates life, love and his personal finances. He vaguely notes his heel gracing the line.

4.     Gordon takes off roughly several inches inside the free throw. He notes he has leapt off his right foot, but figures that's just as good as any foot.

5.     Shane Larkin makes a business decision.

6.     Yams.

This is how you make a basketball murderer, and the dunk on Brooklyn is almost Gordon's grisliest work this season.

You probably recall his in-game opus (we're only comparing in-gamers, don't @ me) from earlier this month--a demoralizing windmill on the Lakers at the Staples Center. Sure, Gordon leapt closer to the rim, but this was, well, a freaking actual in-game windmill.

I hope he flies forever.

Dan is on Twitter. Lower the rim to nine feet and watch what he do.
