After Game 5 of the Finals, Tyronn Lue replicated a Doc Rivers motivation tactic

Believe it or not, the NBA preseason is scheduled to begin this weekend.

On Monday, at the Cleveland Cavaliers' media day, head coach Tyronn Lue went into detail about a motivation tactic he used after winning Game 5 of the NBA Finals vs. the Golden State Warriors at Oracle Arena -- taking $100 from each player, coach, and owner present in the locker room, wrapping it all up, and hiding it in the ceiling. The purpose of this exercise? To come back and get it after winning Game 7:

This may sound familiar, and that's because it's the same exact strategy Doc Rivers used during the Boston Celtics' championship run in 2008. Yahoo! Sports' Kelly Dwyer reported:

No word yet if Lue credited Rivers for the use of this tactic, but, regardless: this is some serious voodoo.
