Andrew Wiggins releases new Adidas shoes

Andrew Wiggins is becoming a star before our eyes. Fresh off a Rookie of the Year campaign, he's releasing a new shoe with Adidas, and it looks like a sick pair.

Here's more on Wiggins' new release from Dime Mag:

Wiggins got a shoe deal before his rookie season worth about $2 million a year. Not bad for a kid who had never played in the NBA. It probably worked out well for Adidas given the way his first pro season worked out, playing better than any other first-year player and garnering a Rookie of the Year award.

Adidas’ patented Boost technology they unveiled last summer is already buffering 2015 NBA Rookie of the Year, Andrew Wiggins. Today, Adidas revealed the Andrew Wiggins Crazylight Boost 2015 “Away” PE.

The Crazylight Boost 2015 Away silhouette has a modified Primeknit upper that features deep blue maple leaves, the leaf of Canada, Wiggins’ native land. The upper features a synthetic leather collar and his initials “AW” on tongue resplendent in maple leaves as well.

The Crazylight Boost 2015 is the first basketball shoe with Primeknit upper for comfort and augmented ventilation, so your feet aren’t getting musty. It also features 13 percent more #BOOST for peak energy return.
