The Portland Trail Blazers own the 23rd pick in the 2015 NBA Draft, and they may look to use it on a forward to potentially provide insurance against free agent star LaMarcus Aldridge leaving this offseason.
While the Blazers will have bigger problems than a draft pick could solve if Aldridge leaves, Martin is a player that could be available in the Blazers' draft range.
Here's Erik Gundersen of The Columbian:
"Of the six players who competed in Thursday's workout, Louisiana State's Jarell Martin has the best chances of being selected in the first round and getting a guaranteed contract.
Martin's been told from by his agent, Andy Miller, that he could go anywhere from 15-25 and the Blazers fall in the tail end of that range with the No. 23 pick."
