Carmelo calls Porzingis a 'steal' after reportedly being upset with Knicks draft pick
If Carmelo Anthony is angry over the approach the New York Knicks took at the NBA Draft on Thursday night, he’s not showing it on social media.
On Friday, one of Anthony’s Instagram followers said he was excited to watch Kristaps Porzingis — the Latvian star the Knicks took at No. 4 overall — this upcoming season. Carmelo agreed and called Porzingis a “steal:”

That doesn’t sound like the same guy who reportedly called Tim Hardaway Jr. and had this to say after the draft.
If he’s truly unhappy, the only thing Anthony can do is demand a trade. Otherwise, he’s going to have to trust Phil Jackson the same way he did when he re-signed with the Knicks last summer.
