Check out Kevin Durant's heartfelt gesture for a young cancer survivor
Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant sat out Monday's 116-104 loss to the Sacramento Kings, but he still found a way to have an impact at Chesapeake Energy Arena.
According to Rob Perez of The Big Lead, Durant signed a young cancer survivor's "2016 goals" sign -- checking off box No. 3 behind surviving cancer and planning a trip to Disneyland (or is it Disney World?) -- and also gave him the shoes he wore on Christmas Day:

What's more, check out the kid's awesome shirt, which says "KD is my Homeboy":
Also: underrated how awesome this kid's shirt is. I need one of these and I needed it yesterday. pic.twitter.com/b1BnsuoaoG

Earlier this month, Durant showed off his charitable side on a larger scale, donating $35,000 to a school for homeless children in the Oklahoma City area.
Though Monday wasn't the ideal night for the Thunder, at least this heartfelt story provided a bright note.
