The Los Angeles Clippers' title hopes apparently took a big hit Monday against the Blazers in Game 4. Point guard Chris Paul suffered a third metacarpal fracture of his right hand.

Paul apparently suffered the injury in the third quarter while attempting to go for a strip against the Blazers' Gerald Henderson.

The team did not release a timetable for Paul's return.

Paul, who was averaging 26.3 points and 8.3 assists through the first three games of the series, had 16 points Monday night before the injury. He was visibly upset when he was having the hand checked on the bench, eventually kicking a seat as he made his way to the locker room.

Paul's injury comes just one day after Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry suffered a sprained right knee in Game 4 against the Rockets.
