LOS ANGELES (AP) Los Angeles Clippers star Blake Griffin has a partially torn left quad tendon and is expected to miss at least two weeks.

The Clippers said Griffin was injured during their victory over the Lakers on Friday night and an MRI on Saturday revealed the tear. He did not travel with the team to Utah for its game and will be re-evaluated in two weeks.

Griffin is the Clippers' leading scorer with 23.2 points per game. He also averages 8.7 rebounds and 5.0 assists.

Josh Smith replaced Griffin in the starting lineup against the Jazz.
