Cuban praises Trump, takes verbal jab at Clippers coach Rivers

Outspoken Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban stopped by "The Herd" on Tuesday and discussed a variety of topics with host Colin Cowherd, from the unusual free-agency back-and-forth of DeAndre Jordan to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

Cuban was asked about the comments made by Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers, who said on "The Herd" earlier this month that Cuban "acted very silly" during the DeAndre Jordan free agency situation.

"First of all, he obviously didn't actually hear or see what I said because I didn't say a whole lot," Cuban retorted Tuesday. "I think I responded to [Jordan's] Twitter apology, and that's pretty much it."

Then Cuban went on the offensive.

"It shows you what someone will do when their entire future is vanishing in front of them," Cuban said of Rivers. "And that's exactly what Doc did and I give him credit for it. His professional life was over if he didn't get [Jordan]."

Cuban also heaped praise on fellow billionaire Donald Trump:
