DeMarcus Cousins jokes that Kobe Bryant is trolling, coming back next season
During Kobe Bryant's "final" trip to Sacramento, fans in the building seemed thrilled to watch The Black Mamba.
Those that made it to the game certainly got their value for the price of admission. The back and forth game, which featured a failed comeback effort by the Lakers, also showcased Bryant in what was nothing short of vintage form. Bryant displayed occasional flashes of greatness, though the Kings ended victorious.
"Kobe's fooling us right now," said Sacramento's star DeMarcus Cousins. "I think he's coming back for one more season."
Now, wouldn't that be a major plot twist? Bryant has struggled this season, compared to the dominance fans have come to expect from him. Though he was limited to 30:56 minutes against the Kings, Bryant scored 28 points with 3 assists, 2 rebounds and a blocked shot. He shot .556% from the field, which was his best shooting percentage since December 17.

After the game, Boogie shared a photo of himself with The Black Mamba. In the caption, he indicated he thought Bryant was the "goat" -- or, the greatest of all time.
