Emmanuel Mudiay's draft-day outfit costs an obscene amount of money
The NBA draft is a time for brighter futures, realizing dreams, renewed anguish, and some really sweet suits. And these are not just any run-of-the-mill suits. You won't find them at Men's Wearhouse or Jos A. Bank. If you did manage to find them at some tailor, you'd likely run away as soon as you heard the price. Take, for example, Emmanuel Mudiay's draft-day outfit.
Let's start with the suit, which comes from Zegna's Beverley Hills store: $3,095
Next, his watch, a "TNY series 40 Chrono Automatic: $5,120.
With the rest of the accessories, Mudiay's outfit will cost a total of $9,300, according to the New York Post.
As Mudiay tells the Post, the suit is a reflection of himself:
"'This suit shows what kind of person I am: classy and professional. I am always around grown people, and this is a grown man’s suit,' he says."
If the clothes make the man (and, in this case, the player as well), then Mudiay's poised for a stellar career.
