Eric Bledsoe, DeMarcus Cousins reportedly score 176 points at charity game

It's been a wild and tumultuous summer for both the Sacramento Kings and the Phoenix Suns. But the best players on both squads got to have a little fun on the basketball court over the weekend -- and make a difference in the lives of children while they were at it.

DeMarcus Cousins and Eric Bledsoe were back in their old stomping grounds in Alabama, where Bledsoe hosted a back to school fundraiser for local students. The event donated school supplies and backpacks to 500 children, according to the Suns' official Twitter account.

And then, it was time for basketball, where Bledsoe poured in an astounding 85 points, according to reports on Twitter from fans and fellow players. But that was nothing. Cousins was his usual unstoppable self, to the tune of 91 points.

As the Washington Post points out, the Knicks and Magic played a game in 2014-15 which saw less total scoring (159 points) than Cousins and Bledsoe managed at the charity event (176).

Now, if only there were a way to get the two onto the same NBA team. Western Conference All-Star squads of the future might have to suffice.
