Gerald Henderson tried to taunt DeAndre Jordan over free throws, failed miserably

Gerald Henderson might be the worst trash-talker in the NBA after this embarrassing gaffe Thursday night.

Henderson was attempting to make fun of DeAndre Jordan, a notoriously terrible free throw shooter, so when Henderson stepped up to the line in the first quarter of Thursday's game between the Portland Trail Blazers and Los Angeles Clippers, Henderson turned to Jordan and said, "Watch me." That's when Henderson is supposed to make the shot and laugh at Jordan, but the joke backfired on Henderson as the shot hit the rim and bounced away instead.

That's an awkward walk away from the line for Henderson. Even worse is the fact that Jordan's Clippers topped the Blazers on a buzzer beater, 96-94, with 0.8 seconds left in the game. Ouch.

The first rule of trash talk? Don't talk the talk if you can't walk the walk.
