Golden State Warriors: Kevin Durant and Draymond Green arguing is nothing to worry over
Kevin Durant and Draymond Green arguing on the bench is a positive for the Golden State Warriors and not something to lose sleep over.
Saturday night’s game against the Sacramento Kings ended up being a tough loss for the Golden State Warriors. Stephen Curry missed a layup for the win and the team dropped a game on the road. In the long run it means nothing as the Warriors are out in front of the Western Conference with the best record. However, the altercation between Kevin Durant and Draymond Green stands out.

While these two have jawed at each other before, they really got after it here. While some might think it’s a bad thing, there’s absolutely nothing to see here. These two are competitors and Green is a fiery one that’s going to call out his teammates. These two aren’t trying to physically hurt each other or cause issues beyond trying to get the play on the floor right.
Both of these guys are committed to the team being the best and what happens on the court stays there. In the end, it’s a loss but they still have the back of the other and are like brothers out on the court.

Sure, it would be nice to not have to see them in this spot. Sometimes it’s warranted and with the way the team was struggling with the Kings, it probably was best they hashed out their differences and continued to work on getting things right.
In the long run it will only help the chemistry of the team. They’re gearing up for a playoff run and correcting the little mistakes on the floor is an absolute must. The great thing about Green is that it doesn’t matter to him who his teammate is, he will call them out. It’s also great to see that Durant is willing to get after it as well.
