Things haven't gotten off to the smoothest start for Grizzlies rookie Jarell Martin.
From Chris Mannix of Sports Illustrated:
This doesn't necessarily mean Martin is done for the season—or even the start of it. We still haven't seen a timetable on his return, and often, doctors don't give exactitudes on those until after the surgery.

The Grizzlies drafted Martin with the 25th pick in the first round of the 2015 NBA Draft. He was supposed to come in to help a front line which could be kind of thin after Marc Gasol and Zach Randolph, given the departure of Kosta Koufos. He still might be able to do that, but the road to contribution might be a little tougher for him given an injury-driven start.
